I’m having a slight issue with music playback in my 2015 F11. Music used to play fine. But now whenever I get into the car and select a playlist and song to play it will not play.

The song info and album art come up, but won’t play. I have to actually press play on my iPhone.

Then if I am listening and if I make or take a call, the same issue arises. Music won’t play after the call has ended.

Oddly, podcasts work now and again from when I get in the car.

I’ve tried deleting the phone from the car. And pairing it again, but nothing. Or am I best deleting phone. Turning ignition off and then doing it?

P.S. I use Apple Music for my streaming.

My F11 would do this after iOS has updated, and it’s bloody annoying. I did an update on my iDrive and that stopped it happening so much. The best solution I’ve found is to restart the phone, when it gets into this loop of stupid.

I have to change the input to AUX then back to Bluetooth.

Mine also now sticks displaying the title and album cover of the first some that was playing.

I sorted it in the end. Updated the iPhone and it worked. Frustrating to say the least when wanting to change the play list.
