BMW headlight part
Discussion
Thanks to BMWs total lack of empathy for owners of cars over 3 years old, I'm afraid any that do come up on the used market get snapped up almost instantly. I can't remember exactly which version (Bi-Xenon maybe?) but I tried to help a friend source one a few years back and after a fortnight or so of searching he was forced to take into BMW and pay the c£1k for an OEM replacement.

I don't know the exact spec you need but there are loads on Ebay at reasonable prices , compared to a main dealer new price .
I looked.
You must know somebody with an account if you have not got one .
Problem is, most of them are LHD lights or for the regular halogen or the standard xenons. I've just dug out my notes on this, my friend's car had adaptive xenons, which the majority of F10s also had. Cheapest I can find on ebay is £826 for a new Hella one. In fact that's the only one that has the correct part number. I looked.

Do you need a complete headlight? The circuit board that controls the headlight is available on eBay. The light units themselves are removable and reusable. There are specialists who will replace the lens & seal leaks
Finally Autodoc sell the headlights but - obviously - they may keep you waiting for the part...
Some people say the control board (made by Lear) needs coding but others disagree

Is light smashed or just had usual water ingress ?. If water damaged as above remove light dry and reseal or find somebody who will do it. Fitted new Copy TMS card approx £45 off ebay which fixed all modes on light to pass MOT. Had recoded to clear all faults. Mine is 2011 F11 with Bi-Xenon. Tried to buy new unit myself but as said pretty difficult to find.
