New 340 x drive

I;m just starting to think about changing my 2000 G20 340i for another. The 340 seems to have disappeared from the configurator, anyone know why?

It’s under ‘M models’ in the configurator - which will initially default to the 340d.

That’s taking me here.

Select the normal 3 series in the configurator then M Models under Models. Scroll down to engines to switch back to petrol.

That’s what I’m finding. Just hope they’re not going to stop making the 340.

Odd, still available for the Touring, but yeah can't see it for the saloon.

Good question. I’ve always changed at 3 years though I’ve only done 18,500 miles so maybe I’ll keep it a bit longer.

Their in lies the problem albeit a nice one. I can’t come up with anything comparable for similar money.

Not sure I would swap my 2020 m340i for a new facelift, very similar and while I prefer the new front end I don't like that they have removed physical buttons for heating etc.

How much is a 2 year old Alpina B3? That would be a nice upgrade!

I much prefer physical buttons for stuff I want to adjust frequently.

I just found the 340i on the configurator. It’s now shown as an M car, then you need to change the engine from diesel to petrol.
