I know someone who has a DB9 at the moment, swapping that for a DB9 Volante next month. He also has an M6 on order, one of the first into the country i believe but he wasnt going to keep it. As he is a very good BMW customer of the years he was recently invited to go to Germany and have a go in an M6.

Lets just say he wont be keeping the DB9. He canr stop raving about it and in particular the power it had. He loved it.

Only problem now is colour, Red (press colour for this car) or black ????

Looking forward to having a play with it !

I think it will look better in black, hides the styling mistakes and makes it look pure evil rather than a clown car in red

IMO the gunmetal/seal grey colour, as seen on most M3 CSL's, really suits the 6 series

Sapphire Black looks good on 6s too (just as it does on the special quicker CSLs ).

Yes, in a similar way to how black trousers hides a bird's fat arse!

I'm nothing if not consistent, Andy.

BTW, what's going on with bm3w? Any idea?

Got a call from my dealer today. Says a December build M6 is available for a January 06 delivery.

Talking about spec later this week.

Gone wobbly at the knees with the excitement.
