e30 M-tech suspension - 318is and 325i -the same?

Hi All,
Does anyone know if the M-tech suspension from the e30 1990 318is is the same as that fitted to the 325i sport of the same age.

I think it is identical, but I'm not sure if it was uprated at the front of the 325i to handle the extra weight?

any advice very gratefully received!

Mike,

Front and rear M-tech shocks are the same on both models, but the springs are different at both ends.
