Atlantis Blue vs Snapper Rocks
Discussion
Can't answer your question specifically but I am a huge fan of both colours, as well as Long Beach Blue (used on the M2) which is similar to both. I'm likely to be buying an F32 4 Series at some point in the next six months but I'm not in a big rush so will hold out for the right car in Snapper Rocks Blue. It's worth adding that I first saw Atlantis Blue on an E36 M3 but have also seen it on an F82 M4 and it looked slightly greener on the E36. I'm pretty sure the Estoril Blue that was on the E36 M3 is slightly different to the version offered on the F30 3 Series and F32 4 Series, so I think shades of any given colour may be modified over time.
Here's a Long Beach Blue M2 with an Atlantis Blue E46 3 Series. The 3 Series is noticeably more turquoise. I think Snapper Rocks Blue is somewhere between the two in terms of the amount of green in the shade, but all three colours can vary quite significantly depending how much ambient light there is.
Two very similar colours, I thought Snapper was Atlantis when I first saw one at a Dealer. Atlantis goes a greeny/Teal in certain lights and then looks much bluer in the sun.
Here's my Atlantis blue E46 looking very blue in the sun. Much deeper than Estoril though. I think it's a great colour, my car would be very ordinary if it wasn't for the colour. I probably wouldn't have kept it so long if it was the grey I intended to buy.

Someone near me has a Snapper 4 Series which I see occasionally. It looks much more teal in real life than photos online suggest. I'd say it's very close to Atlantis, if not identical. The photos I posted previously with Long Beach as a benchmark to measure the difference against seem to imply that Snapper is almost the same as Atlantis. It's fair to say that my intent to buy a Snapper 4 Series is essentially to scratch my Atlantis itch!
I looked at cars in both Snapper Rocks & Atlantis (well, one Atlantis car) when I was looking. Atlantis was a deeper/richer (slightly more green) colour than Snapper Rocks, but they do look very close on screen/paper.
Neither are comparable with Long Beach Blue in the metal IMO - night & day. I do also very much like LBB though.

Can anyone tell me the difference between these two blues?
I was in a BMW main dealer this morning and they had Snapper and Atlantis swatches next to each other in the showroom. The two blues are almost identical. To my eye, Atlantis is a tiny bit darker, but almost imperceptibly so...There was a Snapper 440i parked outside, seemingly waiting to be collected by its new owner. I'd have bought it myself if I'd beaten them to it!
