I'm about to collect a 330i Sport (2003) and the rear tyres need to be replaced.

What do people recommend as the "best" tyre ? I'm interested in grip, wear and price in that order.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Michelin pilot would be a good pick, then Goodyear, then Conti imho

I'm very impressed with the Goodyear F1's I put on the rear of mine. As a result, the Cerbera will also bet getting some when it's new-boots time.

That's spooky, I run a 4.5 Cerbie too...

330s tend to run best on Dunlop SP9000s for some reason. There was a thread ages back about twichyness and general crap high speed handling that was down to changing away from the dunlops.

I'm guessing that this could be the first tyre change for mine, 23K miles. It's currently on Pilots. Did the OE fitment change over time ?

for grip round corners Pirelli PZero Rossos are excellent - but you don't get many miles from them.

I do a lot of miles so have gone back to bridgestones which do seem to stand up well to motorway miles.

Personally I'd stick Falkens on it. Decent wear rating, nice tread pattern, made in Japan, lower cost than the 'majors' and for me, so far so good.
