Hi guys. First post so please be gentle with me! :)

I'm thinking about getting a used BMW 318Ci with 88k on the clock. Its 2001 Y reg and is available thru my company as an ex company car, so I know its has a FSH etc.

The thing that concerns me is that with 88k on the clock that it may be unreliable but have heard that nowadays, well maintained cars will run for much longer. Is that true? Anyone have one who can comment on reliability?

Also, once its gone over the 100k mark, does selling it on become much harder. Is it better to spend a bit more on a lower mileage car so reselling it later is easier?

Oh and they're asking £7.7k for it which to me looks good value when I compare with whats available on autotrader.

Sorry for all the questions and thank you for your time.

BMWs have always been easily capable of 200k miles and further.
