Buying BMW323i - Help

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a 1999 BMW 323I. Milage: 61K, Price: £5400.

Having checked the car data, I can see it was crashed last year and was subject to a "Category D" insurance claim. The car was in an accident and had cosmetic damage (panel work) but was not structurally damaged.

Questions: Would you buy it? And what do you think of the price?

Cheap but I wouldnt buy it without an engineers report and then probably not.
I had a 323 up to a few months ago - 81000 on the clock and traded it in for a 325 sport at a main dealer. He only gave me £5000 for our old car.
