Ive been offered a 750iL V12 Auto. 96N in Ascot Green, 110k but 12 stamps in the book (all main dealer), last serviced 1000 miles ago. All original and unmarked. 2 owners (one famous and one company chairman!). What sort of price is this worth?

I recently sold a S500L 96N with 73k miles and full Mercedes Service History and the trade bids were between £3 and £6k, most nearer the £3k.

I wouldn't give more than £5k for the 750iL with the mileage mentioned. The trade have a real time shifting these cars due to the fuel consumption and problems of expensive parts if anything goes wrong. Give yourself a surprise and phone a few dealers and see what they would give for the same car as PX against something on their forecourt.

With a current BMW extended warranty (that can be extended further) £6.5k, £6k without (once it has expired you can't extend) and just replacing damaged suspension can cost £3k!

These prices are for average condition cars - if it's mint then add another £1500, poor take off £1000.

750iL.... BMW's white elephant!

97P adjusted for mileage books around £5800 (they dont book any older)

BUT as Dazren says, I'll bet you'll struggle to find a buyer at any price, the market for such a car is soo limited!

Sadly the car is probably worth more in bits!

£3k as Daz suggests, it sounds worth looking at if it floats your boat, you cant go to far wrong if something falls off it and you do end up breaking it!

since when!

The 750 never sold in big numbers because of its price tag and the long in even fewer....but as a used car they are great news...or where 2/3 years ago but now a bit to long in the tooth for main dealers.

I think a trade value will around the £3k mark but pay as much as you think yhe car is worth....thats all you can do when they are that old with over a 100k.

ascot green isn't the best colour IMHO

We sold a 96N 750iL with a compression prob on 1 cyl for £2400.00

Trade value between 3-4k resale is not easy!
