I take it there’s no mechanical option for the boot, using the spare key blade ?Alternatively, when you use the blade in the drivers door, does it just operate drivers only, or does it do all locks ?

Unfortunately the bolts for releasing the backs seats are in the boot along with the battery, is there another way of disconnecting tje power from the engine department
That is to prevent access to the boot when ‘valet’ parked (glove box and boot remain locked when handing over the valet key).Johnnyb1 said:
Spare key fob releases all locks and even has a boot release button but the car thinks the boot is open when i drive
Can you not access the car with the spare key, then reset the iDrive options to change how the doors and boot are locked/unlocked? Check the iDrive menu.IDrive
