Banging Noise on M3

Had my M3 just over a week and only done 250 miles. Today I drove for about 10 miles then parked up for 10 mins. When I drove off there was a very loud knocking noise from the front. i can only describe it as a noise you get with a flat tire but a lot louder as people outside the car were looking at it. The faster i went the quicker the noise was. I stopped the car looked under the bonnet and under the car and around it but couldnt see anything. i drove off again very slowley and the noise was still there. It then stopped and has not come back since. Any ideas what it could be??

Very odd, never heard of that before.

Best drop back to dealer so they can stick it on the lift and check everything's done up tightly.
