Engine cutting out any thoughts?

I have a 2002 320ci convertiable and every now and then when braking from about 10-20mph it stalls

now the car is an automatic so it aint me doing it!!!!

any guesses

Only done it 3 times am I being paranoid as this is my 1st auto

possible camshaft sensor, reading the fault memories should point you in the right direction.

It had a service about 3k ago

they picked up a faulty bulb they intermitly went out should they have picked this up to?

probably not it will only log a fault when it packs up and you were more than likely the first to experience that. Occaisionally they can start to pack up and not log a fault but that is rare.

changed lots of cam sensors.
complants are engine stalling, on later engines there are 2 sensors exhaust and inlet
