Hello.

Recently I bought a BMW 325TI E46 from 2003. The idea is mostly for drifting but I do not want to move it in tow for now so the preparation will be for a mixed road / circuit use. I have already received the strut braces, Bilstein B12 suspension, Steering Lock Adapters + 30% and soon the Quaife ATB arrives. But I have the problem with anti roll bars since neither H&R, Whiteline, Eibach are no longer available.

Anyone know where I can get them?

I think is a very important part.

Thank you!!

Try a 27mm M3 Conv bar and a 20mm E46 non M3 Conv rear bar. I don’t think your standard rear bar is 20 but check realoem to be sure. Your front is 26mm.

Thank you very much helix402 for your response.

You're right, according to realoem the front Anti-Roll Bar in my car is 26 mm and the rear is 19 mm.

If I understand what you are saying, I can put an original front M3 E46 27mm and the back of a E46 (non M) 20mm and both are the same size, holes, anchors, etc., like mine, right?

Do you think that with this change is enough?

I know the bars I mentioned fit the non Compact E46, pretty sure they fit the compact too. Maybe ask on the 325ti appreciation thread (or check on realoem if the Compact 19mm bar and the saloon etc share the same part no) to be sure.

They work very well.

Hey

What did you end up doing here? I have this exact problem. Interested to see if the M3 bars fit.

Rear M3 bar won’t fit. Front probably will.

Bit of a thread resurrection, but am looking for a Track Spec Front Anti Roll bar for my E46 325 TI (Compact).

I’ve got a rear one coming from Whiteline, but nowhere specifies a front one. I’ve contacted one supplier who says that they think the M3 front ‘should’ fit, but does anyone know first hand if this is true…?

Obviously I don’t want to purchase to find that the M3 version doesn’t fit, then I’ve got an issue.

Any help would be appreciated…

I take it though, this isn’t adjustable and is a standard OE item..? I’d like something that I can adjust, but if the M3 version fits, at least I know I have a couple of options of suppliers.
Cheers…

Standard E46 M3 Conv bar is 27mm non adjustable. M3 Coupe bar is 26mm as is the standard Compact bar. The angle of the end of the bar where the links bolt to is slightly different on the M3 bar but it still fits.

So, Front one which is specified as an M3 version fits. This was a Tegiwa 30mm M3 front anti roll bar with bushes. Fitted perfect, and is quite a best..!

However, I'm having trouble wit a rear bar. Managed to source a Whiteline rear bar, which on their own website, shows the exact bar I have, and specifies it's suitable for a 325ti.

But the bar is a different shape and just simply doesn't fit. Mounts are in the wrong place, and nothing seems to be correct. The standard (rear ARB) that came off is completely different. Anyone help or shed any light on this...? I've emailed Whiteline to see if they can help, just awaiting a response.

Anyone else successfully fitted an adjustable rear ARB on their compact (specifically a 325ti)...??

This is a comparison of the existing and Whitelines specified.

Pic from another site of a standard rear ARB - which confirms that mine is currently standard.

Hey man,

I own a 325ti and I'm looking at some ARB's and found a whiteline 30mm front bar for a m3 and I think it should fit. But how did you end up solving the rear ARB?

As mentioned the M3 front arb will fit, and you will notice a massive difference with just this one alone. Mines currently set to medium, and it's made a massive improvement, as boy did mine lean when pushed on track.

Spent a lot of time looking at rear bars. Long and short of it, I did nothing, as couldn't find one that was guaranteed to fit. Spent a lot of time contacting H&R, Whiteline, Eibach, and I think another company (but can't remember) trying to source just a rear bar.

A couple of sites listed front and rear as the pair, but wouldn't split, many mentioned the standard E46 would fit, which it doesn't. In the end, I simply couldn't find a rear bar in the UK, that was a guaranteed fit.

Even RealOEM.com states the compact bar is the same as the Whiteline bar, (which is why I brought one), but it's wrong on their site, as the shape of the standard bar is different. This is also noted on several other forums too, seems no-one can find just a rear bar.

If you do, let me know...

I got the m3 whiteline m3 frontbar, 30mm set to hardest and it made a big difference. Still having trouble finding a rear one. I recently upgraded my front brakes to 330 brakes with slotted discs. So now my old 16inch wheels dont fit anymore neither does my spare. So I'm doubting to remove the bin that holds the spare. Could it be possible that a m3 rear antirollbar would fit then?
