Top-up Oil for M3 E46

What oil should I be using to top my M3 Conv (E46)?
And how often do other M3 owners have to top their engine up ?

Hardly ever and you mustonly use Castrol TWS 10W-60, which is difficult to get hold of other than at BMW dealers.

Remember only to check the oil, following the instructions in the handbook. Too cold or hot and you won't get an accurate reading.

You've just missed Matt's bm3w group buy but he does it once or twice a year, so you'll get some next time. In any case, the M3 uses very little oil (unless there's something wrong with it),so no rush.
