Right, how do I go about booking a test drive - I'm seriously considering thinking about wanting to buy one of these to replace my e34 M5.

I heard that UK dealers have been told not to keep demonstrators but sell the cars straight out to people on the order list.

As I understand it will be up to the individual dealer to decide.

Some may pass it straight on others may see a need to run one as a demo!

I know every dealer will try there best to make sure early cars are going to genuine buyers and not traders, albeit impossible!

I have an M5 ordered from my local dealer. They have confirmed that their demonstrator will be available to test drive.
