Spotted New M5 southbound on the M40

...on the back of a transporter!!

Dark blue with a light interior. Looked nice apart from the wheels.. I dont think they are "special" enough for the M5. I mean the e39 M5 wheels were so much sexier than the rest of the bmw range but these new ones just look like the ones on my mums 3 series sport... I still wouldnt kick one out of the garage if it farted!!

I saw a darkish blue (Avus?) one in Henley on Thames a few weeks ago, parked outside a newsagent. It was only the little grille on the front wing that gave it away, otherwise I simply wouldn't have given it a second look.

Maybe that's half the point of an M5 though ? After all, there wasn't much to distinguish a bodykitted E39 530 Sport from the real thing.
