At least, it damn well better had be.

Just got orf the blower from Klaus Von Ninemeister at 9M and the answer to my prayers appears to be looming large...

We're talking a front brake conversion only (rears should be ok, according to those who have been before me) involving those old hands from where else, AP Racing?

6 pot jobs, 343mm discs and the requisite padding, all of which I am told, will allow braking to become quite the laughing fest as per das 911.

Frankly, I'm even tempted to apply gel to the bouffant, whack on some 'Maui (nee Miami) Jim' sunglasses and reaffix the M5 badge to it's rump and behave as God intended.

Blucher, out.

A couple of bags of sand plus vodka & tonic.

Four weeks before it can be done so in the meantime, I shall have to content myself with a lovely set of ultra chromed, 22" spinners.

Aren't the standard discs that big anyway? If so why not just upgrade the calipers/pads?

I is merely listening to them what has done nice fings hitherto.

Besides, blind faith in mechanics' integrity has been my signiature modus operandum since the days of the Jaguar XJ-S being considered a quick car.
