Wife persuasion

Hey guys

I am really after a new 3 series. Still haven't made my mind up whether 330i or 330d.

Anyway, whatever.

The problem is, my wife HATES BMW's and gives me a load of grief every time I mention the subject.

Anyone else come up against this? What works?

Just buy it and bring it home. My wife was a bit like that ("but BMW's have this arrogant image" and now she loves them.

mine was the same, hated BMW's, hated Z3's and hated yellow cars!

Bought a Dakar M Roadster, 2 months later she "borrowed" it and I only got to have it back at weekends from then on! She now has a (Dakar) M3 Cab!

I always hated BMW's for no reason, but was looking for an SL230 replacement last september, couldn't afford the new SLK 350 and didnt want the SLK200 - so the Z4 3.0 litre was perfect, get your missus down to the garage - in the driving seat - and let her test drive, she will change her thoughts. What car would she have instead of a BMW!!! not a lot else to choose..............

My wife dislikes BMW's and hates porsches.

Hmmmm, I have a BMW and a porker. Knew I was doing something wrong.
Saying that, she now appreciates that BMW do make a good car, but not for her. That is after a string of four of them. Time now for her to be happy with an alfa, which she prefers.

She has never been in the porsche, and not likely to. So, I must hand it to her, she sticks to her word.
