Mines the same, think it needs re gassing.. either way I prefer the generic styles knobs, the climate thing looks cool, but it a pile of s**t to use.

My old X5 had a problem with the climate turned out to be a sensor which prevented it form judging the temperature, £70 to fix. Or yours could just need gassing.

Have you turned the dial (top right above centre vent) to the blue line?

Either needs regassing, or the filter needs replacing.

Depends what other cars climate control you are comparing it to.

The climate control in our 330d has been rubbish since day 1 compared to previous audi a4. You have to continually adjust the temperature setting depending on how hot it is and if its hot outside even the coldest setting isn't very cold.

One of the few things on the car which is very poor in my opinion.

yep...

i'll get it re-gassed under warranty i think....

I had a weird experience with a brand new Nissan i bought a few years ago....the air con was never very cold and when i complained the salesman admitted that they only charged them to "about 80% because it meant for every 5th car they had enough gas left over to charge a 6th!!!!".....unbelievable!!!!!

If you do get it regassed it worth asking for them to put a dye in there too just in case there's a leak in one of the pipes. This should help you trace any future problems.

Luckily the guy i bought it from has promised to do it himself without having to claim on the warranty
