2 yr old 7 series

My father is going to buy a 2nd hand car - shock horror. he wants a sedan. He is looking at S Class Mercs and 7 series beemers.
So what are they like the new 7 series? Maybe a 730i sport or 730d sport. Probably from a main dealer.
the magazine write ups that I have noticed previously (at the dentists) seem to suggest that the car is at best average!?

my dad recently bought an 05 bmw 7-series, it is the 740i and he thinks it's great, the only thing that he is not sure about is the I-DRIVE which controls the on board computer,

he did however previously own an s-class but bought the beemer as it was more luxurious, he thought that for the money he paid for the s-class, he was getting the quility of a c-class


he would advise you to but the bmw, much better
