I've got an E36 318iS fitted with Ford Cosworth engine and box.
It currently has the standard 3.39:1 diff, which is a bit too long for the Ford T5 gearbox.
Does anyone know where I might be able to get an LSD diff with close ratio gears? 3.9:1 would be ideal, but anywhere between 3.7 and 4.1 will be better than what I have at the moment...
Any help much appreciated.

That, to my knowledge, is one of the shorter BMW diffs available, I did find a page on t'internet that had all the ratios on, I'll see if I saved it somewhere.

However, you would probably be better off using a ford diff and making it fit, particularly if you want an LSD.

I've had two different garages say they could fit a Ford rear diff, then when they got the car and looked into what would be needed, they decided it couldn't be done, as the Ford diff is considerably wider and longer than the BMW item.

I'm getting good vibes from the guys at ZOOM Motorsport and fingers crossed they'll be able to do exactly what I'm after. Just waiting for an email back from them...

Thanks so far guys.
