Hi

Yeah there is a fair amount you can do, one of the easiest is to change the exhaust. On my E46 M3 I have a full supersprint lightweight race exhaust including racing kats, 1 guy I know got a 21 bhp gain with this alone as per Kelleners in Germanies Dyno. Also under drive pulleys, remaps speed de-limiters, CAI's etc etc . Check out www.bm3w.co.uk for lots and lots of info on this. Also companies like CA-Automotive can be a great help.
PM me if you want more info

Just a thought.. I have JUST bought an M3 Evo at the weekend I test drove 3 cars, 2 of them were pathetic for a car of this power, the one I bought is an absolute flying machine, and up there with my old Esprit turbo on performance, so there is possibly something wrong maybe.

by to slow, do you mean the top speed or acceleration? If the latter, buy a CSL instead.

Coming from a Tuscan I think your would appreciate the noise of a CSL. Somebody said it sounded like it was gargling marbles. Fantastic. Radio doesn't get much use in mine.

The more responsible amongst society might actually suggest that a BMW M3 is plenty fast enough, for someone with a new baby to consider?
