SMG 2 Software Upgrade

Have just got the Z4 back from the main agent. Apparently there is a new version of the software, takes two hours to install. The good news is that it is free of charge, the bad news is that I can't understand why the dealer didn't do the work prior to delivery six days ago.
No idea what the upgrade is about (I did ask, but no one knew!), will report back after another few hundred miles.
