I only had the S50 m coupe serviced at bm a month ago and now its started to missfire just below 2000 revs!

Problem is ,in my wisdom I decided not to re-new the warrenty which expired 4 days ago

Just my luck!

Has anyone else suffered a similar fault?

Its the same lump as an e36 m3evo (S50)its more apparent in the higher gears when you accelerate from
1 to 2000 revs then it seems to clear after that.

Any ideas guys?

Many thanks!

you could always renew the warranty, I believe they will give you a few days grace, tell them you were away on business.

There's a techy forum for the M Coupe here:

www.z3mcoupe.com/forum2/viewforum.php?f=3

Might be worth asking on there. But don't bother today as they're all at Donington!

Cheers,

Mike.

Assuming you're referring to the BMW warranty, you have 28 days in which to renew at the same cost. I got this info from BMW HQ as I was considering buying a car with a lapsed warranty.
