Had a burn-up from standing with a 645 twice in the last week, both times he seemed to really be going for it and I thought its 0-60 was fairly similar to my M5?

However he seemed to have to change very early and the M5 left him comfortably. Has BMW been massaging the 645 0-60 times?

I take it your M5 is an E39, if so it should be quicker it has more power more torque and may even weigh less. For example the official 0-60 for the M5 is 5.3 secs, but people like Autocar have timed it consistantly below 5 secs therefore it should beat a 645 fairly easily.

Sorry, was under the impression he was pushing out 440bhp?

An E39 M5 will leave a 645Ci for dead. The quoted 0-60 for the 645 is over six seconds.

Over 6 for the 630, 5.6 for the 645.

I stand corrected, but it is 5.8 for the auto.
