M3 seats

I'm 6 foot 3 inches tall with long legs and can't get a comfortable driving position in my M3 SMG which otherwise is the best all round car I've ever owned. I think part of the problem is the slightly right adjusted pedal arrangement, coupled with the seat not going back far enough. Has anybody else experienced the same problem and if so and more importantly, has anybody overcome it?
