My 99 cab is due an oil service and, before the warranty expires in May I want to get a couple of things looked at - can anyone recommend a decent dealer service dept please?

Also, my driver's side window intermittently decides that it doesn't want to completely close using the one-touch roll-up or the close-all-four-windows button. It works fine holding the drivers window button to close though, but it does sound like the motor slows a little around the halfway point. Is this something that a dealer will look into under warranty?

Thanks in advance

The dealer really depends on were you live. I have used the Bath and Hungerford dealers for my M and found them both very good.

The window issue could be the switch or sticky motors. You should be able to have this work carried out under warranty.

Im after a 328i cab, yours looks great. Are you selling soon or in the future?

Thanks for the response - someone has recommended the dealers in Bromley (North) which is local...

The window is quite wierd as it's an intermittent problem, although it sounds like the window motor is meeting with some resistance around the halfway mark on closure. Was more interested to know if the warranty would cover it, so thanks.

As for selling my cab, afraid not! With just 28k on the clock (from a T plate!), she and I have a lot more miles together yet!
