Changing Brake Pads on new M3

Hi all,
I'm visiting here from another section as i need some BMW M3 advice.
I'm changing the front Pads on a 2004 M3 this weekend in preperation for a friend who is undertaking some track day activity this year. I used to own a ZM Coupe and was wondering are the calipers similar in design to those I've worked on before and are there any M3 particular tips to be aware of before i undertake the work. I'm a reasonably practical and I just wanted to get primed up before going at them this weekend.
