Converting Headlamps for France

When I take me TVR across to France I just cover up the marked 'wedge' on the headlamp glass with gaffer tape to prevent oncoming drivers being dazzled by the lights.

How does one similarly adapt the E39 'AngelEyes' for Continental motoring?.

Answers quickly please! I'm just about to book a ferry for lunchtime tomorrow

If I remember right on top of the lamp is a round hole with a clear bung in it remove the bung inside is a small lever which makes the lamps dip pattern go flat,
not fitted to all makes of lamps depends on the bulb type
