Advice please - lights

Just acquired a 3 Series Touring on a 51 (whatever E number that is) which is all very fine and nice thank you.

Except for the headlights, which seem a bit dull and 'gappy' in the spread of light. They're the standard halogen ones as far as I'm aware.

Is this normal? If so, should I think about upgrading them perhaps? Or should I take it up with the dealer?

Yours is an E46....Phillips vission bulbs are great but if you have a warranty at BMW take it to them to sort out.
If not the after market bulbs are good value...
