X5 Diesel buying - prices

I have decided that I might go over to the dark side and buy my wife an x5 diesel.
My neighbour has one for sale - I think it is 2 yrs old, silver, sport, 20K miles, auto, sunroof, tow bar, silver leather, NO sat nav, fbwmsh..........
Am I right that they still command massive prices?
I guess if I can get it for 32K then that is a good price!? Gosh they dont lose any money! I am convincing myself that if I pay so much I wont lose much either!
