Hi All

I have always loved the BMW e30 and now I think I may be in a position to get one! I need a cheaper car to drive during the winter and on wet days when I dont want to drive the Lotus.

I dont know too much about e30s but I think I would like a 318 or a 320, I would push to a 325 if it was nice. I also really like the Recaro seats, I guess they were an option?

Are there any e30 Specialists around Berkshire?

Cheers

If only you'd posted that last week. Tomorrow, the buyer is coming to pick up my much loved 318iS!

First piece of advise is to checkout www.e30zone.co.uk (I'm Russ318iS over on that forum.) There are a few cars for sale.

I wouldnt bother with a normal 318i - if you are going the 4 pot route get a 318iS - a much better car. M tech suspension, recaro interior, 16v twin cam engine, really chuckable and fun. Almost as quick as the 325 sport.

Oh and I think Bexley Motor Works are down that way.

Not sure about the 318is, looks slightly out of my price range. I was trying to get something for under £1000.

I think my ideal car would be a 318/320 with Leather, I think I need to keep scouring Autotrader

I have also found a nice 325 just round the corner from me. Over budget and insurance will be a bit more but I have always wanted a BMW Straight 6!

1989 BMW 325i SE, G reg.
123000 miles, MoT July, fsh, new clutch and shocks, all BMW parts, cd, e/s/r, e/w, alloys, lady owner, excellent condition, well maintained. £1,350 . ono.

Not sure on the price though?

It does sound a bit pricey for what it is but the condition might be spanking! Have a look and report back.
