I can buy cheapish six speed box, does this straight swop for my 5 speed or are any mods needed?? car is a 3.8 94 L

From what I've read, it's debatable as to whether the 6 speed gives you any real benefit. Mine was notchy and awkward.

And the 6-speed box is heavier and less reliable!
