E30 325i track day?

Have the chance of an E30 325i, 1989, 90K miles, manual, white (!) black leather, AC, CD, full history (not BMW) good condition, thinking about it as track day car, (no serious mods intended, brakes only) any ideas what its worth? and would it make a good track day car?

Is it a 'Sport' if so your looking at £2-£3k if it's straight, if it's just a 'normal' 325i then I would guess at around the £1k mark
Anything RWD and relativly simple compared to all the modern electrical controled stuff is going to be fun on track, a year or so ago there was a chap at a TVRCC trackday at Cadwell in one, he obviously new what he was doing as the car was drifting round the bends like a good un, looked great fun
