Calling all e30 owners to come out of the woodwork!

I'm sure there must be loads of PHers with E30s as track day tools - so what have you got?

Loved my lowly 316i Lux

Ran it for 2 years and sold it for £250 less than I payed for it, cheapest motoring I've ever had, and thats taking into account the cost of the mods I did to it
I still look at E30 325i Sports and think they look good

I have an old E30 320i that I use as my daily drive, still nice to drive even though its got 144k on the clock, good car just needs to be quicker so thinking of changing it for a 200 SX.

Lachs silver '89 M3, I've had it since May and still not driven it yet :-( However it came with the engine in pieces and the windscreen and scuttle out, so I'm pleased it'll be ready in time for the track day season. Not.

However, I visit it regularly in its workshop and its slowly transformed from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swam!

Sold it many many years ago, but had an E30 318i which was my first rear wheel drive car and without doubt the most bullet proof, reliable car I have owned. Utterly dependable. They don't build 'em like that any more.

Even now the shape looks good and I still see examples around with flawless paint work.

'88 325i Touring with LSD. One of the most fun handling cars I have ever owned.

I'm selling it today, and have already replaced it with an E36 328 Sport which so far has not displayed the same degree of fun handling. Time will tell....

Anybody know anything about boring out the throttle body on a 325i. Where to have it done, how big, costs etc. Or anyone got one for sale?
