Anyone have any recommendations of someone to do an inspection of an E36 M3 prior to purchase in the Bristol area. The car's not coming from the franchised dealer network and nobody likes nasty surprises.
Cheers.

I had the full monty RAC Inspection done on mine as the main dealer wouldn't do one for me. Despite asking on a couple of dedicated BMW sites I couldn't find an indy. The RAC did a very impressive bumper to bumper report but couldn't comment on anything 'sealed', so you'll still be left in the dark as to the condition of the expensive bits such as the Vanos, Clutch, Brakes etc..

BTW, Rob Ingleby (of TVR fame) does a full inspection service and states that he looks at all marques. I guess he will charge you a few hundred pounds. I can get his contact details if you're interested.
