Hello chaps, & any chap-esses

My car has developed a wierd fault.

320td (150bhp)

The car's 04 plate and done 8,000 miles-ish.

It started a few nights ago, and has been happening every time since/

When you start it up cold (e.g. after 8 hours) it drives like a slug, quite slow, if so it's just not taking in air, I'd say running around 60% acceleration.

You then only have to drive up to half a mile, stop the car, wait a minute and re-start the engine and all is OK (restart the engine straight away and the problem continues)

After this one minute wait & restart it's fine, drives like a dream and feels perfectly normal.

What on earth's that about ?

I have left the car with a garage, handy as I'm working away from home and parking is £12 a day hehehe.

Get BMW to run a check on it to make sure all's well.

You shouldn't really be using 60% power when your cars cold anyway

Thats probably the MAF/MAP sensor, or the crank sensor

(or it could be something completely different!)

As above, ask BM to run a diagnostics.
