Looking at buying an E36 M3 Evo if I can get a reasonable insurance quote.

I am 26, 4 years NCB, good area, need Business Class 1 and 25k miles per annum.

Tried Adrian Flux, Elephant, Tesco, Direct Line, any other suggestions?

Cheers

Simon

Liverpool Victoria sorted me out. I have the same car, maximum protected NCD and I'm 33, cost ~£900 ish including legal cover and replacement car if there is a no-fault claim and Business Class 1

Someone else (TonyRec) found Bell Direct the best.

I am 26 and have a rather rare M3 (see profile) - insurance is a total nightmare, much higher than my Chimaera and Boxtser quotes (but then it is a far better car!).

Privelige were cheapest for me when looking at a standard M3 Evo, but elephant were the only ones who would touch my current steed for less than £3k per year.

Liverpool Victoria won't insure an M3 for anyone under 30 sadly..

quotea.co.uk - much cheaper than direct line (by about 20% in my case)

Norwich Union were fantastic for me - 26, 2 years NCD, Range Rover 4.6 HSE - £550, other insurance companies were quoting £1200+

I know its not the same car but they offer a quick NCD scheme whereby you pay for and get 9 months insurance and still gain a full years NCD.

Admiral where cheapest for my E46 M3. Though they have some strange ideas about extras, all must be declared and some even stranger ideas about SMGII gear box.
