bulb faliure warning

any help appreciated,
MY E34 530i COMES UP WITH
HEADLIGHT+TAILLAMP+STOPLAMP+ETC ETC ON THE DISPLAY
EVEN THOUGH ALL LIGHTS WORK
MY SPARKY SAYS BULB FALIURE UNIT(£346 FROM BMW),ANOTHER SAYS CHECK CONTROL UNIT(£156)
APPARANTLY THE FIRST WAS A COMMON FAULT ,ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND CAN ADVISE

LKM
Lamp control module. Its a large black box that resides with the fuses and relays. Very common on the E34.
Most breakers keep them. They are very expensive from BMW. There are two types, LKM B and LKM L. It will say on the case.
Ring quarry motors or fabdirect. They shoudl be able to sort you out.
