I'd like to put a new soft top on my 323i. Can anyone recommend a company that supplies them please?

And are they easy to fit or does the company need to fit it?

Um, I've just phoned ETC as I want a rear screen, you know, the bit of plastic that pretends to be something you can see out of. The current one is a little bit foggy and has a crease line that Renovu won't shift. They've said they can supply it but I'd need to get someone to fit it. I thought it would be a zip in and out job?

For some reason, manufacturers always seem to make the glass windows jip out but not the plastic ones (the ones your going to need to replace!).

A good trimmer should have no problems stitching a new rear window in though

'tis going well and the side line business is taking off nicely!

Still miss the Tuscan terribly, but as winter approaches I appreciate the ease of the M3, particularly the electric hood! In comparison to the Tuscan you have to learn to lean around corners and remember that it understeers like an understeering thing on sponsored understeering day. Oh and I understand scuttle shake now..

Sorry about the Hijack.

Jo. You need to update your profile. Which model M3 cab did you go for?

Daz, I have an '98 E36 M3 Evo cab.

The replacement car selection was based on the following criteria; decent 0-60 performance, it had to be convertible and suitable for winter commuting and cost less than £15k, the M3 seems to fit the bill perfectly. Basically I wanted something that wouldn't depreciate faster than a breeze-block off a skyscraper whilst saving for the Tuscan replacement.

The handling could be improved, I've looked into getting front and rear torsion bars fitted, which may get done if it stays more than 6 months. A new set of shocks would be beneficial too, but again this will depend on how long it stays.

There are some ideas about what may be next, but there will be some MAJOR saving to do before it's feasible, the M3 may well have to stay for a lot longer than 6 months!

Its not torn or leaking in Mustard, it just has two small marks on the passenger side rear panel that I'd like to get rid of, possibly with a new panel.

No. I know of their products but when I saw marks they aren't marks that can be removed, they are like two small slits as if done by a small knife but the tops not leaking so they haven't gone straight through. It really could do with the panel replacing.
