Just little query, need to change my pads on my E36 compact. Its only a little 316 but not having it serviced by the dealer now as they lied to me about some things that happened on the MOT and don't trust them. Now being done by a BMW specialist close to where I work and he charged my nearly £200 less for my Inspection 2.

Anyway, before I go off the subject, any suggestions as to what I should buy?

Yeah I seem to remember having some Gforce or something before on an old Metro Gti (cough) that I had. Were good with low brake dust. Wasn't sure if there was anything else on the market for anything like that or stopping.

Guess I should just go down to German & Sweedish and see what they have.

I would stick to OEM pads unless you get a specific recommendation for another brand. I've had problems with judder, vibration and noise from Halfords parts.
