M5 Wing Mirrors

A Friend last night had his M5 wing mirror ripped off - a call to the garage this morning resulted in a quote of 700 notes - do any of you know of a cheaper place to get a whole mirror outfit.

Only worrying thing is it quotes the same part number for a 520i mirror so I'd call and double check it before ordering
I would think most of the places that advertise in the BMW magazines would be able to undercut the main dealer as well, painting isn't go to cost a forture and I imagine fitting isn't exactly difficult
