Anyone here got a 328i coupe and got any comments, good, bad, things to look out for (I know about the Nicasil issue) ?

Saw a beautiful red one today (96k miles), am REALLY taken by it and am seriously considering replacing the 320i with it, I just want to go in with my eyes open. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Cheers

What year are you talking about? I had a 1998/S coupe sport and really enjoyed it. Seemed sensible enough on fuel, didn't cause me too much grief. Although the clutch did go at about 30,000 miles, which was a little disapointing Apart from that it was great!

Its an R reg, saw it today and just fell for it totally. I was helping a friend buy a car from the same dealer (she actually bought it) and the dealer is offering me a test drive tomorrow (well later today).

I'm really tempted but I know if I drive it I wont be able to say no. Looks in good nick, and experience tells me beemers are pretty good, just wondering if there are any specific problem areas.

After 4 months of owning a 328i convertible, the only problem area I've noted is going to be keeping the license free of points! Far too easy to get into three figures on the motorway in the small hours...

Go for it!

One or two electrical gremlins on my car but nothing too serious.
