2001 530d radio panel.

I would like to remove the cassette deck (behind the flap) and cut the panel to mount a specialist radio. I went to a main dealer to see if the panel was available as a spare part but it appears as part of the radio/tape combination. Anybody got an idea where I can find just the panel. I don’t want to wreak mine until I have a replacement for when I sell the car.
