530 & 540 brakes - the same..? (E39)

Guys, I’m currently looking to replace the brake hoses on my 530 Sport (2002 – E39) with some nice braided ones. No-one has a kit listed for the E39 530, only for the E39 540. I’ve even checked with the Goodrich Technical centre, who confirm they have no technical listings for the 530.
They assume that the brakes are the same, therefore a kit for the 540 will fit.
Can anyone confirm if the brakes (i.e hose length and fittings) will be the same for both models…?
