Where's my transmission checking dipstick????

I am trying to check my auto transmission fluid level.
I must be thicker than I thought I was, because I can't find the dipstick.

E34 525i. 24v

That's what makes the whole thing worse Adam, I have a manual and still can't work it out.

If there isnt a secondary dipstick at the back of the engine then on the gearbox casing is a rubber bung you drop out. If a little oil drips out your good... They are a sealed unit if thats the case.
