Thinking of ordering the new 535D Sport Touring when it arrives in September, am reading conflicting reports on the run flat tyres with their ultra stiff sidewalls. Any real life experiences of them?

Also, what options to go for (eg professional sat nav)?

Many thanks!

From my experience of them on a Z4 with 18" RFT's (compared to the same car shod with 17" non-RFT's) they give a harsh ride, they're about 20% more expensive that their non-run-flat counterparts, not as easy to get hold of, limited choice of brands, harder to fit by your local tyre monkey.

Other than that, they are fine!

The adaptive headlights are a good option, but stay away from active steering if you like feeling where the car is going!
