Just a quick reminder of the Coupe Fest I have organised at Brooklands motor Museum on Sunday 5th September. The day starts at 10am and will go on for most of the day. Unfortunately my information I gave to the club was lost and consequently the event was not mentioned in the club magazine. Thus we have very little marketing for this event which will obviously affect numbers. So I hope most of you can support this event and make it a day to remember. If you know anybody or meet anyone who owns a big coupe BMW please encourage them to come down. I am a little limited in time to do much more marketing as I go on holiday tomorrow, but I return on the first and will spend that week finalising plans with the museum and getting everything organised.

I hope to see you all soon in your gleaming cars.

Kind Regards

Have you mentioned it on the forum at www.z3mcoupe.com? I know they're always moaning there's not enough meets.

Cheers,

Mike.

Hi Everyone,

This is just to remind you all that Brooklands is this weekend. I have finalised all arrangements with the Museum and have 93 tight car parking spaces within the paddock. I also have an overflow for a further 30 cars. Spaces will be alocated on a first come first serve bases.

The plan for the day will be:-

Arrive at 10am
Time to clean and beautify cars and or go around the Museum untill 12
BBQ to start from 12
Some Live music during lunch
General publics voting of all cars
Prize giving for winners cars at around 3pm
4pm photo oportunity on the banking
5pm all people to leave Brooklands
Couple of little pointers.

There is no hoses or water available for cars
there is a 15mph speed limit and anyone going above this will be asked to leave
The banking is very dangerous and has to be treated with utmost respect both on foot and in cars
Anyone not obeying the marshalls may jeapodise future events
The day should run very smoothly, but i need to mention these pointers.

See you all there on Sunday

Kind Regards

James
