Which Beemer - advice pls!

Any thoughts on why I should spend +£2k on a 330 cabrio over the 325 cab...
why either? well summers here (nearly) and with a newly arrived sprog we need rear seats in our convertible. the 911 is out 'cos baby seat doesn't work so beemer seems clear favourite. but which one??

First question is, is your budget finite. If so, I assume the choice comes down to spec V power. Since you are a family man, I would be tempted to take a 325 with superior spec (harmon Kardon, sports sets etc etc).

Since you are trading down from a Porker, though you may find the 330 less frustrating to drive in performance terms.

Tough choice - a drive both is the only answer.

agree with douglasr. you aint going to notice the extra power the way you'll be driving with your kid on board, and the harmon kardon is a must have..

i have a 330i and its a hoot, you will miss the 45bhp if you go for a 325i.

i find the standard stereo is very good anyway, mind you it spends most of the time to hear the screaming 3L six and the nice sports pipes you get on the spont model.

BHP not music! Definately go for the 330i

thanks guys... v. useful. drove a 325 yesterday & definitely lacks some grunt so have gone for an 18mth old 330 cab with sat nav & HK spkrs for £30k. Not bad heh?
